This newly opened restaurant by Chef Niyati Rao and restaurateur Sagar Neve is full of surprises. The menu is entirely ingredient-driven that leaves your palate tingling for more. Whether you opt for the chef’s menu or a-la-carte know that your senses are in for a ride. To tie the whole experience, Ekaa has a magnificent cocktail menu that is as diverse as the food you are about to eat. With inspirations drawn from the different regions and food recipes from around the world and making each ingredient a hero in her dish, the chef encapsulates the restaurant’s name Ekaa which means ‘the one’ or ‘unique’ with each dish presented to you.

If you are obsessed with tacos just as much as we are, it’s time to rejoice. Bombay Taco Company is a newly launched taco place that incorporates ingredients from around the world, but still maintains the essence of the tacos we love. Parth Purandare, the founder and head chef of Bombay Taco Company along with his mentor Kishore DF, conceptualised this eatery that’s a must-try for the days that you crave Mexican food, but still want to keep it light. With tacos, corn ribs, crispy sandos, rice options, fries with gravy and beverages on the menu, Bombay Taco Company brings you flavours and food recipes that are familiar yet unheard of in tacos!

3. PASS CODE ONLY (PCO)

Not gonna lie, but this is one of the most interesting places on our list today. India’s first cocktail bar had opened in Delhi almost a decade ago, and to keep the legacy running it has now opened doors in Mumbai. Pass Code Only (PCO)  is known for its prohibition and pre-prohibition era cocktails, but that’s not the catch. The catch and the uniqueness lie in the name. You can enter this bar with a passcode only. The usual patrons receive the updated code, but nothing stops you from calling the front desk and getting the code for when you want to go. With Art-Deco interiors, cracking cocktails and wonderful food from different cuisines paired with it, the space guarantees you a gala time that you will never forget!

The first thing you read when you go on to their IG page is, ‘There has never been a sadness that can’t be cured with breakfast foods’, and we couldn’t agree more. Kuckeliku Breakfast House is a convergence of art and breakfast food that you can take in the entire day. Nuzha Ebrahim, founder of Kuckeliku wanted a place where people from different walks of life could walk in share their views while being fed American and continental breakfasts as well as a wide range of egg preparations and pancakes. We don’t think there is anything wrong with having breakfast throughout the day, it’s going to be morning somewhere in the world!
